Joseph is a graduate of Yeshiva University and Fordham University Law School.\u00a0<\/p>

After making aliyah in 2000, he worked for three years as Director of International Sales & Development for a family software business.\u00a0<\/p>

He founded Leket Israel\u00a0 in 2003 after witnessing significant food wastage in Israel at a time of rising poverty.<\/p>

Joseph\u2019s vision and steady hand have led the organization from a simple, one-man operation to Israel\u2019s largest food rescue organization.<\/p>

He is married to Leelah, has five children and enjoys biking, traveling and spending time with his kids.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Shachar Minkove lives in New Rochelle with his wife Stephanie and 3 children. He is a senior analyst at Napier Park Global, investing in performing and distressed corporate credit.\u00a0<\/p>

Prior to joining Napier Park, Shachar spent 12 years at JP Morgan in various roles in addition to launching a new fund for Perry Capital.<\/p>

Shachar joined the Board of American Friends of Leket Israel in 2012 and has chaired several of the organization\u2019s gala dinners. Shachar also serves as a board member at the Young Israel of New Rochelle.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Josh is currently the Chief Investment Officer and Director of Capital Markets at Teamshares, an investment platform that purchases small businesses from retiring owners.\u00a0Prior to joining Teamshares, he spent 11 years at Elliott Management as a Senior Portfolio Manager, responsible for European Structured Credit, Real Estate, and Non-Performing Loans, and then two years as the head of US Private Financials.\u00a0Before joining Elliott, Mr. Swidler was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers, working eight years in New York, and five years in London, all in the Securitized Products business.\u00a0\u00a0He graduated with a degree in Social Studies from Harvard College. \u00a0He lives in Briarcliff Manor, NY with his five children.<\/p>

His involvement with Leket dates back almost 15 years when his wife and two eldest children visited Israel and spent the day in the fields with the Leket team. \u00a0This visit inspired his son to raise money at the time of his Bar Mitzvah for the purchase of a refrigerated truck. \u00a0Josh is proud and privileged to be able to continue his family\u2019s involvement with Leket as a member of the board of the US Friends.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Warren H. Cohn is a seasoned public relations and communications strategist with over 15 years of experience in media, public affairs, and community engagement. As the CEO and founder of RocketshipPR, Warren has built a reputation for his expertise in crafting narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, particularly in the realms of politics, social justice, and community advocacy.<\/p>

Warren’s work is distinguished by his deep commitment to the Jewish community and his proactive efforts in combatting antisemitism and promoting Israel’s image abroad. He has been a key player in various initiatives, including his collaboration with the Community Security Service, where he played a vital role in enhancing the security of synagogues and Jewish events across the United States during a critical period beginning on October 7th. His involvement extended to Israel, where he worked on a significant project alongside U.S. and Tri-State area law enforcement officials at the onset of the conflict.<\/p>

In addition to his security work, Warren has made significant contributions through his leadership of the American Middle East Press Association (AMEPA). In this capacity, he ensures balanced media coverage of Israeli news by securing appearances for Israeli figures in U.S. media, organizing journalist delegations to the United Nations and Israel, and facilitating briefings in partnership with institutions like Ben-Gurion University, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Tel Aviv University.<\/p>

Warren’s dedication to his community extends to his work with NCSY and their Jewish Student Unions, where he addresses antisemitism on middle and high school campuses. Through these efforts, he has helped bring national attention to issues that were previously overshadowed by similar concerns on college campuses.<\/p>

Warren’s strategic approach to public relations and his unwavering commitment to his values have made him a trusted advisor and influential voice in his field. Rabbi Brenner J. Glickman is delighted to serve as the senior rabbi of Temple Emanu-El in Sarasota.<\/p>

After growing up in Los Angeles and Maine, Rabbi Glickman graduated with honors from Amherst College in Massachusetts and the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati. Rabbi Glickman served for eight years in Houston, Texas, at Congregation Beth Israel, before coming to Sarasota in 2006.<\/p>

Under Rabbi Glickman\u2019s leadership, Temple Emanu-El is a warm, vibrant, and spiritual congregation. In his ten years, the temple has grown from 230 families to 550 families, becoming the fastest-growing congregation in the entire region. The temple has received national honors for its innovative programs, and Reform Judaism magazine recently named it among the friendliest and most welcoming congregations in North America.<\/p>

Rabbi Glickman is also active in the greater community. He has served as president of the Sarasota-Manatee Rabbinical Association, and served on the board of the Jewish Federation. He presently devotes his energy as a leader of the All Faiths Food Bank, having chaired both the Capital Campaign and the Philanthropy Committee.<\/p>

Rabbi Glickman and his wife, Rabbi Elaine Rose Glickman, met during their rabbinic studies in Jerusalem. They are the proud parents of three kind, beautiful and brilliant children.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Mike is a shareholder with Wolf, Greenfield & Sacks, P.C., where he specializes in patent litigation and trials before federal district courts, the International Trade Commission, and the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the United States Patent Office.\u00a0 Mike heads Wolf Greenfield\u2019s New York office.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Mor Soued lives in Englewood, NJ with her husband Alphonse and 3 children.\u00a0 She has hosted many parlor meetings and small local events in Englewood for American Friends of Leket Israel.\u00a0 Mor is also an active member of her community and has served in a wide variety of lay leader roles in her synagogue, Congregation Ahavath Torah, her children\u2019s schools, and other nonprofit organizations.<\/p>

Mor first got involved in Leket in 2016, when a close friend was being honored at their dinner.\u00a0 Leket\u2019s strong message and amazing work really struck a chord with Mor and Alphonse and they have been involved with the organization ever since.\u00a0 Mor is proud and excited to be a member of the American Friends of Leket Israel Board.<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Anthony\u00a0is a partner at Goldman Sachs where he runs the financial and information services private equity investing effort in the US. Anthony first joined GS in London in 2001 and moved to NY in 2007. He was named partner in 2018. Anthony serves on Goldman Sachs\u2019 Corporate Investment Committee and is currently also a board director at Human Security, Inhabit IQ and People Corp.<\/p>

Simone (Sima) Gross is a Managing Director at Maycomb Capital, an impact investing platform where she co-leads investment and asset management. Prior to Maycomb, Sima was an attorney at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP where she focused on mission-aligned structured finance and nonprofit corporate transactions.<\/p>

Sima lives in New York with her husband and three children where her children regularly host bake sales for Leket. She is proud of their commitment to Israel and food rescue.\u00a0<\/p><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Alex Sagan has a diverse background in academia, consulting and business. He holds a doctorate from Harvard University, where he is currently a research affiliate the Center for European Studies, and was previously a member of the faculty. His academic work focuses on the Jews in Europe. Alex has served as a strategic and organizational consultant to numerous Jewish institutions and foundations. He is also partner in a privately-held real estate company focused on the commercial and multi-family sectors. Alex has served on many boards, including: Combined Jewish Philanthropies of Boston; Harvard Hillel; Cornell Hillel; Gann Academy; and the Jewish Community Day School, where he served as board president.
