Leket Israel hosted its 4th annual Bridge the Gap event for Brits and Anglos at the Leket Israel Logistics Center in Ra’anana on Tuesday, August 20th 2019.
Over 140 volunteers showed 
up to help sort and pack fresh rescued fruits and vegetables to be distributed to 200 nonprofits throughout the country.
The event celebrated British culture with Union Jack flags and Beatles music and this fun event was geared specifically for English speaking volunteers living in Israel or visiting from abroad.
Altogether the volunteers packed boxes for 412 Israeli families in need.
