In August 2023, we brought Nelly Tagar to Kibbutz Yir’on (Lebanon border) to meet Asaf Shwartz, the Orchard Manager for the kibbutz to learn more about the 3,000 tons of apples and pears they had donated to Leket. No one could have predicted how much things could change in less than a year.
