Grant Writer

Leket Israel is looking for a Grant Writer to prepare grant request and reports on grants received

  • Develop grant proposals and reports by assembling information including project nature, objectives/outcomes/deliverables, implementation, methods, timetable, staffing, budget, standards of performance, and evaluation
  • Write, revise and edit drafts including executive summaries
  • Meet proposal/report deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, and transmittal
  • Accomplish organization goals by accepting ownership for requests and reports
  • Visit with partner NPO agencies to gather information
  • Liaise with Leket Israel staff on current figures for reports and updates etc.
    This is a part time 50% position with the potential for growth in the future

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Media, or related field
  • Minimum of 3-years experience in grant writing, prospect research, general fundraising
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Organized
  • Multi-tasker, able to balance multiple requests at the same time
  • Comfortable with calculations
  • Innovative and imaginative
  • Team player
  • Good understanding of budgets
