Grant Writer- Replacement for maternity leave
Leket, Israel’s largest food rescue network, is seeking an accomplished resource development professional to join our dynamic Overseas Fundraising team! Based in Ra’anana (hybrid possible), the successful candidate will work on a diverse range of projects, contributing to the organization’s growth.
- Develop grant proposals and reports in English by assembling information including project objectives/deliverables, implementation, timetable, staffing, budget, and evaluation.
- Write and edit a range of English documents, including executive summaries and updates.
- Meet deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, review, approval, submission, and transmittal.
- Take ownership of tasks and deadlines to ensure organizational goals are met.
- Work closely with employees across the organization to obtain up to date program data.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field (including English, Media, Political Science).
- Minimum of 2-years experience in professional writing (grant writing experience – advantage).
- Native level English (+ limited working proficiency in Hebrew).
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Enjoys collaborating as part of a team but also able to work independently
- Highly organized – ability to plan, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
- Strategic and innovative thinker.
- Detail-orientated and comfortable working with budgets.
