Leket Israel has purchased a new field in Binyamina that will used to grow fruits and vegetables for Israelis in need. The field was purchased with the generous assistance of Shalom Israel Asia Pacific, a pro-Israel Christian organization based in Singapore and Pastor George Annadorai.
The first crop of sweet potatoes have already been planted and are expected to be harvested in October. Leket is also building a greenhouse in order to provide those in need with the most in-demand vegetables, tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers, year-round.
